Bio

Xavier Marshall is a former West Indies cricketer who made his Test Match debut when he was just 19 years old but he has since emigrated to the United States.

Xavier Marshall played 7 test matches and 24 ODIs for the West Indies from 2005-2009 but emigrated to the US in 2013 after a frustrating last few years in first class and List A cricket.

Was also named West Indies Youth Cricketer of the Year in 2005, and his obvious potential has been on display in the New York region where he scores bucket loads of runs at club level. His experience against some of the best sides in the world will be a welcome addition to the US squad.

His first assignment with Team USA is bringing him back to the Caribbean for the Cricket West Indies Super50 competition and his presence will bring some strong local knowledge to the squad.

Although he made his Test Match debut 13 years ago now, Xavier is only 31 and has a lot of time left in his career to play a big role in the Red, White and Blue of the United States of America.
