Bio

Born in the United States, Jivana “Jivi” Aras currently lives in Bellevue, Washington. She is an all-rounder, supporting the team as a fast bowler and power hitter. Her introduction to cricket occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 within her own home. Then, she began playing games a year later.

Her passion for cricket grew through watching the 2020 T20 World Cup final live. The game kept her on the edge of her seat and she noticed how powerful the game is across the world; 86,174 fans attended the game! Her favorite cricket players are Ellyse Perry and Shabnim Ismail.

The most memorable moment of her career so far is taking 4 wickets in a Fairbreak game, including the wickets of Laura Wolvaardt and Shemaine Campbell. In addition, she looks back on the USA U19 team winning the 2022 CWI championship in Trinidad with great joy. She appreciates her dad’s coaching and mom’s care throughout her cricket journey, citing their importance in her life. Jivi is grateful for the support from Super 11 Academy, MLC Academy, Sydney Cricket Club, New South Wales Cricket, and USA cricket!
