Bio

Sunny Sohal is an ex first class player for Punjab who also played a few seasons in the IPL for three different franchises between 2008 and 2012.

Since emigrating to the USA, Sohal has been destroying bowling attacks at various tournaments around the country, and in the Washington Cricket League where he plays his regular cricket.

A short man with a compact technique, who belies his size with tremendous power and timing. He typically opens the batting and often takes advantage of the hard-ball early in the innings during the fielding restrictions.

It was no surprise that he was rushed straight into the US side once the ICC’s eligibility criteria softened given his illustrious pedigree and having only just turned 30 years old, Sohal could still have his best cricketing days ahead of him.
