The Bay Area Blues are a women’s cricket team representing the East Bay. The team competes in USA Cricket’s domestic pathway program, playing against local competitors in the West Zone region of the United States. The team is led under the guidance of coach Vijay Chukka, captained by Anika Kolan, and consists of highly talented players who each contribute a unique set of talents to the game. Together, they exemplify the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship and bring women’s cricket and competition to the next level.
