Following the recent announcement of the U15 Girls’ National Championship, USA Cricket is pleased to announce the squads and coaches for the upcoming tournament in Dublin, CA. The inaugural tournament will take place from July 19-21, 2024 and will see five T20 games played over the three days.
Players were evaluated by Intra-regional coaches within their region based on criteria such as attitude, fitness, skill, and performance throughout the 6-week domestic Intra-regional competition. The Intra-regional coaches ranked players from their own and opposing teams. USA Cricket’s Women’s Coordinator then validated and aggregated these rankings to form the final East and West squads, each consisting of 14 players and 3 reserves – 28 players and 6 reserves.
USA Cricket Women’s Coordinator, Celeste Du Toit said, “We are thrilled by the young, new talent that is coming through the pathway, and it is a clear indication that the interest in the sport is growing among female youth in the USA.”

The Head Coaches have also been appointed following an interview process carried out by the women’s national Head Coach, Hilton Moreeng, and Du Toit. Ashok Adikoppula, coach of the Boston Lobsters Intra-regional team, has been appointed head coach of the East Conference team while Jaafar Shahabuddin, coach of the Dallas Spurs Intra-regional team, has been appointed as head coach of the West Conference team.
