Each week in 2018, we’ll be taking a closer look at one of the members of our International Squads. Find out more about your heroes in our Mens and Womens #TeamUSA squads.

Roy Silva played 87 first class and 57 List A games in his native Sri Lanka. His first class career stretched from 2001 until his last match on 30th of March 2013.

A powerful middle order batsman and canny right arm medium pacer, Silva has quickly become a central figure in Team USA following his debut at the 2017 Auty Cup in Toronto.

He played alongside and against some of Sri Lanka’s greatest names, but his career highlight to date was scoring a quite remarkable 295 not out off just 91 balls in an Irish 40 over League match. This innings holds the record for the highest score in any limited overs match ever played in Ireland.
