Bio

Moksha Chaudhary is a quiet player who lets her on-field performance speak the loudest. From an eight-year-old gully cricketer in her native India to a 15-year veteran of the sport. The right-arm medium pacer credits her childhood coaches in India with her success and now representing the USA.

Moksh, as she is known to her teammates, has represented Punjab Cricket Association, India Blue – Women’s Challenger Trophy, Maverick Valley Cricket Club, and Atlantis Cricket Club – NY. She was a 2013 World Cup probable for India. Moksh sums up her love of cricket as love at first sight. She loves everything about the sport, the forever friends she has made, and the places she has traveled to play the sport.

As an admirer of both Glenn McGrath and Jhulan Goswami, playing for the USA is a great honor for Moksh, and her passion and love of the sport mean everything to her. It keeps her motivated. Her favorite moment in cricket was being named Player-of-the-Match vs. Argentina in the 2021 ICC Americas T20 Qualifier in Mexico City. Her four wickets vs. Zimbabwe in the 2021 ICC ODI Qualifier in Zimbabwe ranks right up there, along with being named in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2013; as an Indian probable.
