- Patricia Whittaker, David Haubert and Pintoo Shah appointed as the new Independent Directors on the USA Cricket Board
- Paraag Marathe, Rohan Sajdeh, and Catherine Carlson, are replaced by the new Independent Directors
The Nominating and Governance Committee (NGC) concluded its search for the three Independent Directors by nominating three highly qualified individuals to the Board of USA Cricket. Following the recommendation from NGC, the constituent Directors of USA Cricket approved the nominations.
The three new independent Directors shall have staggered terms, in accordance with USA Cricket Constitution
The appointment of the three Independent Directors is a significant step in the goal towards assembling a Board of Directors that can unite the American cricket community and unravel cricket’s massive potential in the world’s most competitive sports market. Attention will now focus on the growth of USA Cricket and a global traction with the USA-hosted 2024 T20 World Cup in focus
The three Independent Directors have a wealth of knowledge and experience which will bring great value to the USA Cricket Board and are as follows:
- Patricia Whittaker – Former West Indies International player, member of the USA Women’s National Team Selection Committee – For a term of three Year
- David Haubert – Former mayor of the City of Dublin, CA and currently the Alameda County Supervisor -For a term of two years
- Pintoo Shah – CFO and SVP at NBCUniversal Media, LLC. – For a term of one year.
Patricia Whittaker is a well-known name in USA Cricket with her contributions to Project USA – a sustainable foundation group that helped establish USA Cricket. This is in addition to her role as an all-rounder for the West Indies women’s cricket team.
David Haubert is an innovative thought leader with a keen and demonstrated ability to provide strategic insight, creativity, and leadership skills necessary to transform companies from start-up to success stories. He has a strong commercial background and organizational strategy development and has worked with global leading retail brands such as Nestle, Pepsi-Co, Safeway and IBM for over 25 years. David also brings with him deep knowledge of government-backed policies.
Pintoo Shah is a Finance executive with exceptional leadership and analytical skills. An accomplished strategist with a strong accounting foundation, Pintoo has extensive experience in domestic and international business and strong corporate connections across leading industries.

The three independent directors join the seven elected representatives of the Board who are listed below:

- Venu Pisike – Individual Director
- Kuljit Singh-Nijjar Individual Director
- Sushil Nadkarni – League Director
- Nadia T. Gruny – Female Player Director
- Srini Salver – Male Player Director
