The full #TeamUSA Squad have arrived into Antigua ahead of their participation in the upcoming Cricket West Indies Super 50 series. USA will be based in Antigua for the entirety of their Group B campaign in the Super50 alongside their Group B rivals, Jamaica Scorpions, Leeward Islands Hurricanes, Guyana Jaguars and the English county side Kent.
USA will play six of their eight group matches at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground as ‘Day’ matches with 9am starts (local time), whilst their other two group matches will be under the floodlights at the Coolidge Cricket Ground as ‘Day/Night’ matches with 2pm starts (local time.
The squad arrived over the weekend, although their preparations were hampered on Monday with rain meaning that no formal training was possible so some local alternative arrangements were found on the nearest Antiguan beach!
What to do when rain cancels all chance of your training session at the nets in Antigua…..??
